Skills for Health
Skills for Health, an existing client of ours, are a not-for-profit organisation who provide workforce and organisational development solutions to the whole UK Healthcare sector.
The brief
Alexis Kalmar, marketing manager at Skills for Health, who are based in Bristol, contacted us in need of an update to their corporate brochure. The new brochure would be used to hand out at events, send to interested potential clients and stakeholders and be available on their website as a downloadable document. We were to work with updated copy content, written by the client, covering five key areas of the Skills for Health offering.
Working to guidelines
Whilst the brochure needed to look fresher and newer than the old one, it also had to adhere to existing corporate identity guidelines. These guidelines covered the usual suspects of colour, typography and photographic image style. As a point of difference to the previous brochure, we decided to use colour to split the brochure into key topic sections, which we then added a colour coded reference to in the contents list. It was also important for photographic imagery to match existing photographic guidelines. Due to budget constraints, this was all royalty free stock photography, but still a cost-effective way to achieve great, on-brand results.
Results
The brochure has now been printed and used at a series of events attended by Skills for Health over the summer. Hard copies can also be ordered via the website, or downloaded as a pdf. As part of this work we also designed a small exhibition stand, to sit with the style of the brochure. The images in this post show feature spreads from the twenty page brochure.
